The Grand Teton: A short walk in the hills.

I’m fairly surprised that we haven’t had any sponsorship offers yet. I think what are missing most is a clever alliteration, a la ‘SLC Samurai.’

Chris M., Sam A., and I climbed the Upper Exum route on the Grand Teton in approximately 24 hours, Logan to Logan. We spent about 15 hours on the mountain.

At one point, Chris fell asleep on a ledge, not anchored in, with a used wag bag as a pillow.

At another point, we got fed up with simulclimbing and soloed the v-pitch.

At another point, we shared nummy cubby bears and goldfish crackers with other climbers on the summit.

At another point, I finally got to sleep Saturday night, after about 40 hours of being awake.

I’d just like to point out that the used wag bag was only a part of my pillow. Also, I can never wear those shoes with those pants again.

I’m sure we would have a sponsorship right now if we had better fashion sense. . .
