Birthday and Birthday Bicycling

May 5, 2009. Since we are on the theme of birthdays: Last year for my birthday, Sam, Natalie, and I rode our bicycles around the Wellsville mountains.  Our friend (I can’t remember her name, if someone knows, let me know) got a flat tire in the middle of Sardine Canyon and as it turns out, we didn’t have extra tubes to fit her bicycle.  Brittany came and picked her up and we bid her a teary farewell.

The ride was beautiful.  We ate a lot of gummie bears and sour worms and talked and drafted.  The weather was ominous all day, but it didn’t start raining until we were a quarter mile away from home.  And then it poured.

That evening we ate enchiladas and destoyed a pinata. Great birthday.
